The ergonomic treatment heads are particularly suitable for improved skin contact on difficult convex or concave surfaces. Absolute water tightness insu-lation makes the heads ideal for underwater treatment. The parasitic side radiation is negligible, ensuring maximum protection for the therapist. All treatment heads feature low BNR (Beam Non-Uniformity Ratio) and precise ERA (Effective Radiation Area) values. A unique head protection system cuts off power when coupling is insufficient and automatically restores power when coupling improves.

The Nemectroson 400 offers the unique feature allowing multiple frequencies, 1 MHz and 3 MHz, to be used without changing the head. The hassle of plugging and unplugging sound heads to use different frequencies is completely eliminated.

Additionally the therapeutic operation can be improved by selecting either continuous or pulsed ultrasound. Pulsed ultrasound treatment reduces the thermal effects. Different key ratios of pulsed ultrasound optimize the therapeutical selection of thermal and/or biological effects.

The efficiency of the ultrasound therapy with the Nemectroson 400 can even be improved when using combined therapies with the EDiT®400 Electrotherapy device and the Endovac®400 vacuum device.

Furthermore the Nemectroson 400 offers the possibilities of phonophoresis treatments.

The complex biophysical and physiological effects of ultrasound lead to just as complex biological  effects in the human body, which determine the different applications of the ultrasound therapy:

The versatile Nemectroson 400 has been developed for operation either hospitals and practices or for the treatment of bedridden patients, in sport-physiotherapy or in the field of veterinary medicine.

The user-friendly Nemectroson 400 is easy to operate. The different parameters, such as intensity, pulsed or continuous ultrasound, treatment time, start and end of the treatment are confirmed by visual an acoustic signals. All functions of the machine are microprocessor controlled and are automatically tested when the machine is switched on.
