the Nemectron Answer to Psoriasis!

The Nemectron Psoriasis Therapy UNit is innovative and relieable.

The NePTUN SL is a unit based on the latest developments in the field of Psoriasis Therapy. Under the direction of Prof. H. Dertinger from the Forschungszentrum (Research Center) Karlsruhe, years were spent to basic research on cell cultures, up to clinical tests, which have provided a solid basis for the unit.

In essence, being a disposition disease, Psoriasis cannot be healed permanently. Also this new therapy can only cure - or significant reduce - the present affection and will have to be repeated whenever the symptoms reappear.

This treatment is very simple and there are no known side effects, which distinguishes this new therapy positively from other therapies. The treatment is extremely user friendly and the patient can do it at home.


Contraindications

Thrombophlebitis, venous thrombosis, pacemakers, problems with the region of the heart, tetany, feverish general diseases, acute local inflammation in the treatment area.

Treatments in the area of the karotid sinus and in the region of the uterus during pregnancies are to be avoided. Diabetics are not to treat the region of the pancreas and the liver.

Duration of the treatment seriesDepending on the seriousness of the attack and the development of the healing process, the sequence of the treatments is to be twice daily with gaps of 8 hours between the treatments during a period of 8 to 12 weeks. The length of each treatment is to be limited to approximately 10 min. As soon as the therapy is successful, the series of treatments is to be ended. Larger regions of affection should be divided in smaller areas, which are then to be treated separately.

The accessories Depending on the areas to be treated different accessories are to be used, such as:

  • Flexible electrodes of 7 x 12,5 cm, 11,5 x 17,5 cm or 14,5 x 23 cm
  • Viscose covers matching the size of the electrodes
  • Fastening straps appropriate size
  • The appropriate cables to connect the electrodes
  • Treatment bath 35 x 24 x 10 cm or 35 x 24 x 40 cm (see illustration below)
  • Mesh inlays for the bath (see illustrations below)

It is strongly recommended to obtain these accessories from Nemectron to insure the quality and the technical specifications!
